About Me

I am Youngjin, a Junior Machine Learning Engineer. My research focuses on developing efficient and trustworthy AI systems 🖥️ that contribute to solving real-world challenges—like protecting polar bears and our society 🐻‍❄️🌏. Recently, I have been focusing on optimization techniques and multimodal learning, particularly safety in vision-language models. I aspire to practice Trust, reliability, and safety in AI ft. Daniela Amodei of Anthropic and Sonya Huang — valuing thoughtful, careful, and responsible research.
